We got Gyspy in 1976 as a companion for Misha.  The process was the same.  We arranged for a new pup with the breeder we used to get Misha, hopped a flight to London and and picked her out.  Again, because of quarantine and importation regulations, Gypsy made her flight to Berlin about a week later.  Gypsy was a little more "dainty" than Misha and a tad on the nervous side when it came to loud noises.  But .... she was just so darn cute!  She was also a world traveller, starting out life in London and living in Berlin, Germany; Wuerzburg, Germany; Augsburg, Germany; Munich, Germany, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany; Ayer, MA; Fayetteville, NC; and San Angelo, TX.

She passed away while in Garmisch at the age of 16.

The saddest part about Gypsy's passing was fact that we were in Germany.  Local laws and regulations prevented us from having her cremated and retaining her remains.  So, she is with us now only in memory.
